I had an amazing experience at Empyre Barber in Tigard. The shop has a great vibe, super clean, and everyone there is welcoming — but Arnold is the real standout. He’s one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. His attention to detail is next-level, he listens to exactly what you want, and the cut always comes out sharp and consistent. You can tell he really cares about his craft. If you’re in the area and want a barber you can trust every single visit, go see Arnold. Highly recommend this shop!

I can’t say enough great things about Arnold at Empyre Barbershop in Tigard. From the very first visit, he made me feel completely welcome, never judged, and genuinely cared for. My hair is extremely delicate, and I’ve always been cautious about who I trust with it. After moving from Los Angeles, I was honestly nervous about finding a new barber, but Arnold exceeded every expectation I had. He knows exactly how I like my cut, remembers the little details, and delivers consistently clean, precise work every single time. It’s rare to find someone who gets your style so well and makes you feel comfortable in the chair from start to finish. Even now, I still drive 25 minutes every month to month and a half just to see him, and it’s absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a barber who listens, understands, and truly takes pride in his craft, Arnold is the one. Highly recommend!

Cassandra did an incredible job cutting my hair. It felt like the first time in a long time that I didn’t have to double-check if my haircut was done correctly. Did it look faded and blended in well? Five out of five stars! I’m very happy with my haircut.

Finding a good barber is basically a personality quest, and Arnold at Empyre in Tigard has been my guy since the day I moved up from LA three years ago. I swear I walked in once and never looked back. Even now that I live in NE Portland, I still drive all the way to Tigard because nobody cuts like him. Nobody. He’s crazy talented, super welcoming, and honestly just a whole vibe. No judgment, no weird barbershop energy, just laughs, good conversations, and a dude who makes you feel comfortable in the chair. I’m always switching up my hairstyles and he gets it right every single time like it’s nothing. That’s the magic. I recommend him to everyone because people deserve a barber who actually listens and delivers. And booking is a dream on Booksy. It pops right into my calendar automatically and I can pay with Apple Pay or card, which is perfect because I never carry cash. If you’re looking for your new go to barber, pull up on Arnold. You’ll walk out feeling fresh every time.

Arnold at Empyre Barbers in Tigard is the barber I always get my cut from. He’s a great guy who is easy to have a conversation with while getting a cut. He’ll state his opinion about certain style if asked which is very much appreciated. The barbershop vibe is not intimating and the whole crew there are very nice. Cassandra always greet and says goodbye. The clippers, the seats, the floor, everything looks well maintained and clean. I’ve seen them put their time in cleaning their gear, seatings and preparation for their customers. Quality cuts that don’t feel rushed. I always leave the barbershop satisfied. A good place to entrust your cut with.
